What size jets?
Does anyone happen to know what size jet came default in the 2150 carb on my 77 F250? 400 engine, c-6 2wd, blah blah blah. and before anyone says to go look at this spot or that spot on the engine, I can't. I'm on the opposite side of the world from my truck right now. But I'm ordering a rebuild kit so I can work on the truck when I'm home on leave in two weeks. So, anybody?

Most carb kits do not come with jets.
1977/78 F150/350 400 C6 2WD/4WD with/without A/C, except CA emission:
2) C3OZ-9533-A .. Jet #57F (Motorcraft CJ-129) / Obsolete
Closest sources to Cushing OK:
HAVEN FORD in Haven KS (NW of Wichita) has TWO = 620-465-2252.
B. F. WHITE MOTOR CO. in Stanton TX has THREE = 800-953-3321.
KINSEL L/M in Beaumont TX has EIGHT = 800-816-2894.
PARTS INTERNATIONAL in Farmers Branch TX has THIRTY = 888-727-0418.
This is the only jet listed in the '73/79 truck parts catalog for your application.
CA emission, Ford. If the DSO code stamped on the Warranty Plate is 71 or 72 & Lincoln/Mercury 52 = sold new in CA vehicle.

Yeah, jets are tuning, not rebuilding. Things like accelerator pump cams, squirters and jets don't come in a refresh kit. That's part of the reason people dislike Holleys. They don't know how to tune them. They put a rebuild kit in it and wonder why it still has a flat spot or is still too rich.
I have a drawer full of such items. When you get back, let me know and I'll try to walk you through the tuning end of it.

well, I'm figuring I "might" have to do some tuning as well.... that well be seen after I've replaced the timing chain and got it timed right. then to rebuild the carb (pretty sure it's never been cleaned, much less rebuilt). So I'm fully expecting to have to try my hand at tuning as well.

Was looking at these guys rebuild kit Ford Motorcraft 2100 2150 2 barrel carburetor Parts Page anyone ever use them? Or do you guys have any brand recomendations?
