covers? I am curious about these covers. my 95 doesn't have any that I can see.
He is probably referring to the rain guards along the top or teh fancy covers that are like louvers. Either way they should be held on by double-sided tape.
I think an easy way to get them off would be to use a heat gun or a hair dryer and heat up the edges to make the tape sticky. Then pull the cover off. It will take some elbow grease I imagine. Then you'll just have to deal with getting teh rest of the adhesive residue off. I recommend this stuff called "adhesive remover" (original right ) I got it at Advance and it cost like $11 a can but it works great.
