Injector questions??????
I found another 97 psd local for sale. He's letting it go cheap because he don't want to work on it. Its clean as a whistle but bone stock and alittle doggie. He said he changed his injectors to help with the power issue. But it made it worse cause the injectors he used were used and out of a buddys smashed up truck. The real issue was a plugged up converter. It also won't start unless you plug it in no matter the temp outside. Has new glow plugs, batteries, and relay. When he swapped over the injectors he used aftermarket o-rings and believes they didn't seal up right???????? It will come with the original injectors and I have a set of aftermarket orings i can throw on it.
He wasn't sure if he got the injectors seated in all the way and believes the reason it starts while plugged in after several hours is the orings swell up and seal. He and his neighbor done the injector swap. Does this sound like a possibility? Thanks in advance!
