What's wrong with the site?

All afternoon I've had major issues...uploading photos to the albums - the 2nd page of the process (where you name the photos) doesn't load, even after 10 minutes of waiting...posting or replying does the same way, eventually timing out. Am I the only one seeing these symptoms?

I'm not having any problems with any other pages, and I've cleared my cache and rebooted...

My ISP has been dreadfully slow this evening. Apparently not only FTE.

Must be quite a bit of Christmas shopping going on.

Enjoy what is left of your weekend.

I have always had trouble with this particular site. It's just something you have to live with. After all, the site is free. The animated gif advertisements seem to cause me the post problems. Once an animated gif freezes, about once out of every 10, I have to exit my browser and reload the site.

even when you pay for a subscription like I have/do, it is still slow as crap.

doesn't matter where or how I access FTE. I've done it from Work, my cell, my wifes cell, our iPad, home ISP, a buddies phone.

All slow. I've put in trouble tickets, but no answer. Only recommendation has been that I change browsers. Browser isn't the issue as I've used Firefox, IE 8, Safari and they all exhibit same results. Even with cleared cache and new/fresh logins

IE is the worst for FTE access. I use Google Chrome, it seems to work the best. Less glitches and only momentary hesitations, if at all.

I have never had problems with this site excluding when there is a known down time. Always runs fast. I am on here daily. I never wait long to load a page. I run Fire Foxy and have the top of the line internet speed from my internet service provider.

update: not sure what IB changed, but FTE is working almost normal today. I was gone from Monday through Friday. Still a slight delay, but it's minor enough that I'm ignoring it.

really wish IB would figure out this issue and get it corrected. I know 100% it's not a problem from my end because I've encountered the slow speeds using many different computers, phones, iPad. And these were using different ISP's as well. So that wasn't a factor either.
