Was reading a thread a while back about door hinge pins being replaced and I finally did mine yesterday as they were getting bad and it was most likely the last nice day for a while. I know that the thread I was reading had a link to buy them online, but I found them at Napa for 6 a piece (made in China unfortunately) which worked for me. I don't have a dremel tool, so I unbolted the hinges from the door, and drilled out the old pins. I believe Nate (DIY) gave the idea to use a tow strap and an engine hoist to support the door and make it a one man job, this proved to work very well. For anyone on the fence about doing this, don't wait any longer. Easy cheap fix and the doors close like new
Also, anyone that hasn't done this kind of thing before, mark the location of the hinges and put some rags between the door and the fender to keep from scratching anything
I did mine over the summer, Todd. I should've done it 10 snapped door handles ago! I would like to echo "Easy cheap fix and the doors close like new" DON'T WAIT!

Well I would like to thank you Ian for the original post that I read. It's amazing how well they shut now, barely have to put any pressure on the door at all

I should really do this myself. Where's the link to the original post?
