What exhaust did you get? Does it have a single cat and the air pump tube attachment on it?

Right now, I'm just doing a cat back exhaust. I'll replace the cat after tax time. I'm really impressed with Summit's customer service. They shipped the wrong muffler with the kit, and today they shipped the right one (I hope anyway).

Make sure the air filter is clean. I bought a 84 suburban and someone RTV"d in a charcoal filled air cleaner then set the normal filter around it. I could almost watch the gage go down as I drove. Had to only be getting 8 or less MPG. As soon as I tossed the charcoal filter the mpg increased noticeably.

Wow, little advice I don't know if you are new around here but take a look at the year of when a post was made before responding. You brought back to life a post that hasn't been posted in for the past 12 years.

Nothing to be ashamed of we all do it once or twice.
