Still have the TTB front axle or did you swap in a solid axle?

Still has TIB front. Wouldn't know how to put a straight axle under it.

Most people go with the coil spring Dana 44 straight axle from a '74-79 F150 or '78-79 Bronco in place of the TTB. Stronger and keeps aligned better.

Sounds like a cool rig though.

My 80 Bronco came with a 351 mod engine, but now runs a 460. The 351w would a great engine for a 55 F100. Do you have any pictures?

I had a '82 bronco with the 351M, I hated that motor, but I was also missing my '75 F150 with a 390 at that point...

Super happy with my Powerstroke now though!

I had a 78 250 with a 351m. that motor allmost made me give up fords. Traded it for a 87 Bronco with a 300 six. Much happier. I have pics but don't know to get them on here. My kid will be here tomorrow and she can figure it out. College edykated and all.

I loved the 300-6 that was in my '87 F150. Of everything I have owned the 300, 390 FE, and 7.3 diesel are the best. I didn't like the modified motor at all and wasn't too impressed the the 460 powered bronco my buddy had.
