stuck valve cover!

Trying to remove the driver side valve cover. I got the four bolts off the top. Is there something else I can't see? I tried to remove one of the fuel lines with the spring lock tool but that seems stuck as well. It really doesn't need to be removed though. Can anyone tell me how to break the cover loose? I tried hammering with a block of wood but it's hard to get a good angle. Thanks.

It's a 1988 F-Superduty

take a screw drive or a flat scraper an put it between the valve cover an the head an work around it. Try not to dig in to the head tho.

There are 7 bolts total. Double check all 7 have been removed.

Well I managed to get if off but there were definately only 4 bolts. I had to remove the upper intake to give me room to use a hammer and chisel. Even though it is off, I haven't removed it because of the fuel and EGR lines. I'm going to try to get the fuel lines off again right now. I don't know why I only have 4 bolts. Every source I found said 6 or 7.

Finally done... the fuel lines needed some coaxing out even after the spring was pushed out of the way.

I was not thinking fuel injected.

factory carb 460 engines have 7 bolts per valve cover
factory EFI 460 engines have 4 bolts per valve cover
