38 grill options

38 grill options

Can anyone tell me what choices of grills I would have to bolt on a 38 ford? Stock of after market ok, not going custom yet.

is this the oval grille? don't know of a replacement, if it is stock, without going custom.

Yeah, that's the barrel nosed trucks. There really isn't any direct bolt on replacements for those, you're limited to a grille from a '38-'39 truck.

Is it missing. or just messed up? I have had some success fixing grilles but not show quality. The 38 I used copper pipe and the tractor 1/2" aluminum angle and other junk. I've always wanted to make one from re-bar.

You need either a 38 grill or a 39 grill (they are actually different).
