MINI Spools are useless!!! and they break often. All they do is replace the spider gears effecitvely. If your going with a spool get a full spool. The mini spools isn't a step between full spools and locking diffs.
as for the axle question. You can go to axle websites and sometimes the have a calculator that will tell you what to get. try http://www.moserengineering.com/mose...r/axletech.htm
this well tell you what axle you should get. of course this is for there aloy axles and not stock but if your not anywhere close to the 31 spline numbers i would stick with 28
