It ran for 15 seconds then didnt run at all and kept cranking the starter on and off for about 10 mins truck never started back up after that Initial 15 seconds. Truck is at the Mechanics. i also noticed a lot of Diesel Fuel in the rock Guard underneath the forward tank. and the tank was just replaced so it has a possible break or leak in the tank to pump line.

Truck is running again.. Problem was Low Oil..(should have check the Dipstick*Face palm*) Truck is Burining 15w40 Oil(blue smokecoming form the tail pipe). but also had the Tank Checked for leaks. The Sending unit was not tightened enough doesnt leak anymore. Changed the Injector Return Lines and truck is still runing very rough.. by the looks of it there is Fuel Leaking out of Injector's # 6 7 and 8

Low oil????? I'm pretty sure you can pull the drain plug and run one of these until she blows. The only possible thing oil could affect at all would be the lifters.

A powersmoke is finicky with their oil an idi don't care.

If your truck was running rough running down the road, you probably have an air leak between the tanks and the IP. The return lines would make a mess while running but have nothing to do with fuel delivery to the engine unless you were losing so much that you couldn't maintain enough pressureto the IP.

Edit:
I would install a piece of clear tubing at the return from the fuel filter head. If you have any air coming out constantly, you've got a problem on the suction side of the fuel pump.

What did it smell like? Sounds like you need to change your source of fuel.

Is there any chance this problem started around the time you changed the fuel tank.
What was the reason you changed the tank.

When you pull your filter off, to see what the fuel looks like, be sure to note whether or not it is full. If it isn't you have fuel bleeding back, which will cause hard starts,or starts then stalling, then real hard starts or starts but runs real rough for about a minute.
If it continues to run rough, you have a different problem.
You need to test the fuel pressure at the schrader valve on the fuel filter header, it should be at least four pounds, also test the volume I believe it should pump 1/3 pint in ten seconds, it should not spit any air at all during the test.

I had the truck all warmed up and running and the truck was still very rough. Had the truck running for 30 mins to an hour and almost the entire time it ran rough, then smooth for a little then. ran rough again. my mechanic checked the Fuel lines all the way up from the tank looking for leaks or cracks found none. tightend the Sending unit cause it was loose. tested the fuel preasure going to the filter was about 10 pounds of preasure. he didnt check the preasure from the filter to the pump though.put the Injector Return lines on ran the truck and bleed the fuel lines.

What kind of fuel pump are you running, the original mechanical or an electric pump. 10 pounds seems a little high, but I doubt it would cause a problem.
