Plumb yourself a gauge in like Chris mentioned and see if it can hold pressure under hard load, if it has a hard time you'll know where some of your money is going to go. There's nothing wrong with the 38r, it will serve you well and is a reasonably priced drop in. I'm shopping for one myself to use until I can move on to what I want. Keep us posted on your build, there are so many different paths you could take and we all like to throw around our $.02
