I am buying new shocks (Bilstein) and Firestone Ride-Rite airbags for my 2000 F350 Turbo diesel 2WD that has 85,000 miles on it to date.
I have a 10,000 lb lift in my garage so it should be fairly straight forward.

Q: should I do the airbags first? Or the shocks? Or does it matter?

 

Well....they do two differing things. At the same time would be the best.

 

Yes, absolutely plan to do both at the same time. Just wondering if I should do one before the other.

 

 

Removing the shocks will give you more room to work while installing the bags. Once the bags are done, install the shocks like normal and you're done.
