Yes mine has be acting up too. I have to cycle the key a couple times to make the relay finely make contact it would click but wouldnt turn glow plugs on. I found this out cause my truck wouldnt start some times. I would check all the basics and i knew my glows plugs were good so i put a multimeter on the relay and sure enough some times i would have power and some times it wouldnt. I actually ordered a stancor today it was 60 and some change all together
when i had my stage 1's put in along with my DP tuner i had my glowplugs and reley done all at once. having stage 1's is it supposed to be harder to start?

I have been wondering this also if bigger injectors would make harder starts.
I have to leave my key on longer for the glow plugs to heat up more with the stage ones compared to stock. When it was stock as soon as the wts light went out I'd start it, light was on longer when cold of course. Now I have to wait a little longer or it doesn't hit on all 8 when I start it.
I don't see how it would matter going to Stage 1's but I guess I could see how increasing the nozzle size would make it start harder when it was cold. It seems like it would be tough to get a good atomization with a bigger nozzle. Jim Rose will have to give the ultimate answer though.
Edit: I guess it does make a difference then or at least it did on Darin's truck. I don't doubt what Darin says, I just don't know why it would matter when it isn't spraying any more fuel at idle and the nozzle size is the same.
