Last I knew it was on hold indefinitely. Get yourself a T500 from Terminator. Riffraff has em.

Is the srp1 the same thing as a T500? Does it flow near as much volume as the srp1? What are the potental issues? Last I looked they were on back order until 2012

Have you searched on Fte for the srp1? If not try that first. Then pm me and I'll explain!

You went threw a lot of crap that doesnt sound fun at all. I know you were having a lot of problems with your truck not too long ago, did you ever rule out that it wasnt something to do with it? What did you decide to go with?

The SRP1 self-destructed from the inside out due to parts that were used to put it together. There was nothing his truck could have done to have caused that.

I'm actually still running the original hpop with great results from it. Seems if my motor was what caused the srp1 to fail then my original pump wouldn't be holding up like it is. Heck it took about 3 oil changes after the first pump self destructed before I quit seeing what looked to be brass in the oil! Two things I contribute to my truck running poorly are my injectors being wore out and poor compression. Injectors have been replaced and soon enough the engine will be rebuilt as well! good luck!

how much do you want to spend?

for about 2k you can get a billet stealth stage 2 pump or you can go with an adrenaline or see if the t-500 will handle thos sticks......if money is no object than my vote goes to the billet stealth pump.....

Money is always a problem.... So far I figure Im gonna spend around 2800 on rods, 1850 on sticks, 600 ish on studs, 500ish on valve springs, and 350ish on chromoly pushrods, the only thing that I was lacking was the HPOP that will support the mods Im going to do. I want a good reliable pump that Im not going to be pushing to its limits every time I put it to the floor and under 2k would be great but if its not out there I will buy an expensive one. These mods are going to be gathered and installed hopefully over the coures of the next year, a BTS trans and injectors last

How about a high pressure solution that will support whatever injectors you go with? Riffraff Diesel: Terminator "Big Oil" Dual HPOS

You may as well go with big oil and get some Dual Terminators. Send me an email and I will see what we can do to keep you under $2000 on a set. If you are serious about needing oil then why mess with single pumps that will never produce or ramp as fast as what dual pumps can.

Also, I am not sure where you are getting the pricing from above but you might want to check these links to save some money as well. We can save you over $100 on custom push rods alone...

Riffraff Diesel: ARP 7.3L Headstud Kit
