I haven't been on a while because I am recooping from a fire that we lost two of our project vehicles a 1984 Ford Bronco 2 and a 1990 Ford Econline Van. Plus a 2009 Harley Davidson Fat Bob but any ways just so yall now I am 15 years and the mechanic my whole family. Well my brother has a 1989 Ford F350 2wd with a manual tranny 460 V8. Well we are getting a donor truck that is an 1983 Ford F350 4x4 manual tranny with the 400 and a Dana 60 rear end. Well the 1983 was wrecked the frame is almost in an L shape but didn't Driveshaft or anything else luckly. Well, I want to take the front end, rear end, transmission, and transfer case and put it onto the 1989 crew cab. I also putting the flatbed onto the 1989 crew cab. I have done the reasearch and it says that the 1983's 400's 4spd Overdrive tranny will bolt up to the 1989's 460 V8 engine. Just wanted to update yall on that and also tell me info you know on this kinda work. Oh ya and also we payed $100 for the 1989 crew cab and $400 for the 1983. Plus we are going to rebuild the 460 V8 engine. Oh, and just because 15 dosen't mean that I am not that smart on doing this I work on triton V10s all the time even the 5.0Ls in my 1988. Oh also just for your info the 1989's Tranny is bad along with the bed. Here is a pic of the 1989 Crew cab.
