2008 badges
I was wondering if there is anyone with the 08+ badges on there trucks? Thinking of switching it up.
And also is there a web site or a place in so cal I can pick up some new ones from??

I looked at buying a set of OEM. About $250
then you have to modify the rear of the emblem (remove all the protrusions) and then you have to cut a clearance hole in the fender
not worth the effort IMO. Would look great though. Billet Badges makes a faux version for the 99-07 trucks. They let you completely customize the way it looks. I've got a design made up for my truck...just need about $200 to place the order

If I were going to the trouble to put those badges on my truck, I would make the vents functional. A litte black mesh on the inside keeps the look clean while still allowing added cold air for that big 6637 filter!

The badges on my truck dont have mesh from FoMoCo on the backs. Just a big hole about the size of the badge itself. Have any of you thought of trying a scrap yard to look for the badges? I imagine theyd be hard to find still but ya never know. I live in the city and have access to alot of them. Junk yards that is.
For $200 I'd rather do a mod that actually added function instead of just looks.
