08 Billet inserts??

Anyone install billet inserts in the fender vents yet?

Looks to me like the inner fender has to come out to put these in

, anyone been down this road yet?

Got them on my truck. You just pop the vents off and then take the plastic off and put on the billet. Takes about 5-10 minutes.

Before you do it

Go to the Ford dealer and get some new pressure nuis to hold it on..when I put mine on I trash them getting the old emblems off...they good great on..good luck

Yes, the fender vents will come out easy if you remove the inner splash shield and do it from the back side. Instructions can be found at the link below...

One is saying they just pull off and another is saying remove the inner fender???
I not lazy and if I have to pull the wheel well that's fine but if they just pop off I would rather go the easy route.
Are there speed nuts on the back side?
