This one?

God no that ain't mine! I wish!!!!

That's Davesfarm on youtube truck. Mine use to be that very same color though. Charcoal gray metallic. Witch will return to that original color for restoration.

Notice mine has the chrome front clip, his has the base gray grill with no chrome around the lights.

It's making me very nostalgic about my old '86. I think this one needs to be repainted to match the old one.

If you look real close, there are four black things, and they are kind of round and down at the bottom of your pic. That is the only part of the truck that you need to keep on the road. lol Good luck with it.

$1400.

It's got a few small things wrong with it:

Needs new tank selector valve (new one comes with the truck)
Needs new windshield (like $150 used windshield plus installation)
Needs the e-brake fixed
Needs a new ignition lock cylinder
Needs a new speedometer cable

The engine is newish. He didn't have paperwork for it but I did the dipstick "pressure test" and it had vacuum. I've never even looked at an IDI that had vacuum at the dipstick. It pulled VERY well in my test drive and it doesn't appear to burn oil, or not very quickly at least. He told me he hadn't added any oil since the last oil change about 6 months back.

Clutch seems to work ok. Wouldn't call it new but I don't think it needs to be replaced.

One of the front hubs is brand new and he bought them as a set so the truck also comes with a new hub for the other side which he never bothered to install.

The transfer case shifts incredibly smoothly. I've driven 10+ old Ford trucks and never had one that goes in and out of 4x4 easily, it seems you always have to fight it. This one shifted nice and smooth in and out.

When I got there the thing was parked basically inside of a gigantic pine tree. I brushed pine needles off of the door handle before getting in. I cycled the plugs once, turned the key, and it fired up no more than 1 full second later. I was impressed, to say the least. I checked all the battery terminals, which appear to be in great shape. The batteries themselves seem low on the CCA side of things but they're not a century old and they seemed to handle themselves just fine. I'm guessing it has a gear reduction starter.

I don't think I got a "great deal" but I do think the price is fair and I'm happy with the purchase. The guy was very honest and kind, which always makes me willing to spend a bit more money than I would offer otherwise.
