Recommend a 1" leveling kit?

Hey all,

I only have a 1" difference between front and back of my 2010 F250 and would like to resolve that. Can anyone, hopefully from experience, recommend a 1" front leveling kit? If so, why?

Thanks!

My thought would be to use the Icon 2" kit, but only use the two largest springs (instead of all 4) to get you the 1" you want.

Yeah if all you need is one inch than I'd just go with springs as mentioned above. With springs, you will retain most of your factory ride and it will be pretty cost effective. Unless you do a lot of off-road flexing, you should not have any issues topping out of your shocks either.

I'm sorry guys, but I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about or which "springs". Any chance you could post a link to a website showing what you're talking about? Thanks!

They sound knowledgable enough that they would know a 2010 doesn't have leaf springs in the front.

Readylift has a 1.5" front kit. On ebay there are some sellers that sell 1" spacers. I typically do not trust "homebrew engineering" though..

My 2011 F250 is 1.5" taller in the rear than the front, so I am opting for a 1.5" ReadyLift kit to level it out.

Why? cause a 1.5" level/lift for the front is hard to find. I'm sure a 1" is hard to find as well, but out there.

The level kit is a 1" (or whatever height) disc, about 3-4 inches across, with a hole in the middle, and longer bolts. Homegrown or not, a metal or aluminum disc is an aluminum disc, whether or not it has a brand name on it.

Ebay is a good source for harder to find kits like a 1".

Thanks, but would you mind posting a link to the kit or part you're suggesting? I'm used to being able to level a truck for less than $200. Doing a search of Icon, I only found like a $600 kit which look like springs for front and rear. Is this what you guys are suggesting?

You can get a 1" level kit for $70

I went to Google and I found a $70 1" level kit. I entered "F250 1" level kit" , lol

I did a little digging and found the following two options for 1" kits:

1" Leveling Kit

Revtek Suspension | Ford Suspensions

I don't have direct experience with either, but I have heard good things about Zone. I actually just ordered one of their adjustable track bars for my '00.

Is yours a 4x4? If not, changing to the front factory shocks for a 4x4 of the same year should bring it up a bit. My only real experience in this was swapping factory Sport shocks out of an 06 Wrangler I had way back when and putting in a pair of used Rubicon shocks. Brought it up about 1/2" out back and almost 1" up front. Might just be cheaper and better to go with what Charbaugh and Houstonrider are recommending though.
