Switching to synthetic, drain HPOP?

Switching to synthetic, drain HPOP?
I seem to remember the consensus here was not to monkey with sucking the oil out of the HPOP when changing the oil.
Same advise when switching to synthetic?? Leave the HPOP alone and let the old conventional oil cycle out over the next several oil changes?

Suck it out of the HPOP plug, pour new synthetic in. The only "special" thing you need to do is make sure you put that HPOP plug back on before you start it...or else...WOOOOOOSH! It's an oil well.
And as far as needing to do it...well, Jody from DP Tuner says he believes the HPOP oil should be changed at every oil change. Don't believe me? Look what he says on this thread, it's his #5:

It says,
I feel SOOOOOOOOOOOO vindicated.
