OBDII problem

Hello all, I have a 2004 crewcab F-250 6.0 PSD manual transmission 4x4. My trouble is my obd2 doesnt seem to notice the key being turned on.If i try to change programs with my superchips tuner it just keeps telling me to turn key on. If i plug in my scangaugeII. It just doesnt read the scangauge just shows connecting?I have checked the fuse it is good.i also tried disconnecting the batteries and leaving disconnected for an hour.I dont see any wires chafed or missing. any help would be greatly appreciated

The only thing I would have had you check was the fuse. Not sure what else you could check.

Power port fuse, or cigarette fuse?

I had a problem on my 05 batts kept going dead. The chip tooh out the alternator through the engin light on took the chip off changed altinator and have had no problems. Unhook the chip and see what happens

obdII

the fuse in the fuse panel is good. truck runs and drives fine it just doesnt read the ignition being turned on in the obdII. scan gauge just shows connecting and then shuts down.the scan gauge does work on other vehicles just not on this truck. if i try to reprogram with my tuner it just stalls when it tells you to turn on ignition as if it doesnt read the key being turned on.
