No Spark
Guys, My son left the ignition key to the on(run) position all night when he was testing his gauges. In the morning after charging a dead battery it wouldnt start. I pulled a plug and checked for spark and there wasnt any, but I have it from the coil. What would be the most likely culprit? Would the pickup coil in the dizzy get hot and burn open?

Good eye, I didn't catch that earlier.
Check the wiring that runs from the DS2 box to the distributor. On my truck, I had a wire in this same harness break away from a connector awhile back and it caused a no-spark condition. It was an orange wire. Once I found it was broken and I fixed it, I had spark again and all was well.
