I just bought a 97 F-150 yesterday after i totaled my 96 Saturday morning, truck is automatic 4.6l 4x4 manual transfer case my question is the odometer nor the cruise control work... ive looked the book front to back and cant find a Fuse for either.

Ive also been told theres a plug on the transmision that controls both which i havent located either, any help pointing me in the right direction fould be greatly apreciated

 

I don't suppose your ABS light is on. Both of those symptoms can be explained by a bad rear wheel speed sensor located in the center of the rear differential

If the light isn't on make sure it operates. It should do a "test out" meaning it will come on and then go off when you start the vehicle
