Down on power
My 1997 7.3 Has no power until completely warm. Then once warm and traveling on the freeway at 65mph I stand on the throttle it bogs down. The rpms come up slow and the boost jumps above 10 psi. The motor shutters and bogs until I back off a little where the power starts up and slowly apply throttle
to get to 80mph. I am using and edge program second stage (plus 80 hp). This seemed to happen just recently and my mileage has dropped to 16 mpg.
Ideas? I am not a seasoned diesel guy.

I have a Hypertech and will load it. I think most of it happened when I put 5 oz
of Lucas injector cleaner in per tank (15 gal each). Injectors were checked two weeks ago at the dealer and were ok. Also ran good at that time. The ford tech told me to run a cleaner which I did. Thank you for the advice.....

You CAN drop the tanks, but if they are at all full of fuel they are really heavy and awkward to remove.
A lot of people find it easier to take the bed off instead. Just 6 bolts and 2-3 people can lift it off.

Thanks, ill keep that in mind. It seems that i just had muddy water in a sensor, i blew them out and used q tips and it seemed to fix my problem.

Not sure which it was, i used q tips and my compressor and went through every sensor/plug i saw (theres A LOT). Just unplugged it, used the q tip on the female side if there was a lot of dried mud in it, and then blew out both sides
