well I checked my transmission and there's no pto. so evidently mine doesn't have the pto option. I guess I'll have to check the wrecking yards for a transmission that has a pto options....... or maybe I can do something with hydraulics somehow???
Probably gonna be cheaper to buy a new winch unless there's some particular reason you want to use the PTO winch...
You can buy a belt driven Hydraulic pump. That is what "most" state trucks used to run for plows and salt spreaders. They called them central hydraulics
