I have an 06 F250 with a 5.4L engine. I brought the truck into the shop and ran it on our new scan tool pulling codes P0121(tps circut A fault. Both banks 1 and 2 are lean and there s a misfire upon seeing the 1st 1,000 rpm seems like an intermitten problem there. Also showing codes P2104( throttle acuator-forced idle) and P2112( throttle acuator stuck clodsed) I believe much of my problem may be my tps needing cleaned or replaced, however the truck is also going into failsafe mode where it will die and start right back up, only doing this on occassion. I am going to clean the throttle body, MAF and TPS sensors and c if this helps fix the problem. I dont want to take it to a dealer because after reading some additional post ,most of them cant fix the problem either.

Dealer will throw money at your truck till something fixes it LOL. I recently had some kinda similar issues with my old truck. Ended up being the BWD TPS I put on the truck last winter. Bought a motorcraft this time! Good Luck!
Everything on this truck is either factory bought or if bought at our local smyths its motorcraft. The truck has just reached 155554mi and has a new fuel filter and air filter. the plugs are about due for a change but last time Ford ended up with $3,000 in a head job damn triton plugs. Found just the tool to solve this tho. and your right about the dealer just throwing stuff on to fix it.
