got the truck running and it runs good. got a chance to tool around in it this afternoon for the first time in a while. the maf swap took me about 10 hrs. most of that was making the over lay harness and computer pin out chart.
question i have is......
at around 45 50 or so it will buck or jerk. i can pedal thru it and it goes away.
so i pulled codes and they are all e40d related 600 series codes. now my truck has an AOD but the computer i have is for an e40d. i got it cheap at the junk yard so i figured i would try it.
i know i need to get a manual computer. but
will the e40d computer, being hooked to a non e40d truck cause this issue?
or is it something i need to go back and redo. i had no engine related codes. just tranny ones.
double checked all my wire connections and they are good.
