FRX Mod Question

I'm doing the FRX mod to my 7.3, and I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not the fittings that screw into the head screw in all the way down to the hex nut. Mine got pretty tight about about 1/8 of an inch before the nut made contact with the head, and I don't want to tear anything up....Thanks in advance!

Yes these are tapered pipe thread, don't over-tighten.

Do you put the gasiola on the top of the fitting where the line hooks up too?

Everything from the components to the packaging appears to be very high quality stuff...I'm looking forward to finishing it up. What's the best way to get the fuel system loaded back up? I have a buddy who says to just put tranny fluid in the bowl and turn the key on a few times.

Just cycle the key to ON three times for 20 seconds each. That will prime the fuel system and purge most the air. Look for fuel leaks during each 20 second fuel pump run. FORGET the ATF.

Keep an eye on routing of the Frx lines. That ss braid makes a good imitation of a hacksaw when vibrating against another component mile after mile. I covered it entirely with split wire loom to hide it from the CA smogstapo, but a few short lengths of split fuel hose where needed should suffice.

We also have an option of pre-installed covers now as well if the customer wants.

I already put the split loom stuff on the lines, should be good. I'll post some pics when I get it all back together...

That is correct. The Gasoilia is only for the NPT fitting into the head.
