Hate is probably too strong of a word, but Gale Banks is one of the most arrogant windbags on this planet. He is a supreme hater of anybody else in the diesel business. His company puts out some real nice products although most of them are overpriced. Sorry guys I just wasn't raised to be a lemming. Everybody jumps on the Banks bandwagon because their advertising budget is bigger than the GNP of some countries and full page ads in every magazine seem to make people believe that you are the best in the business. Who do you think pays for that huge advertising budget or their flashy racing program?
Personally I have always been on alert when I hear any diesel related company name that uses superlatives like trusted, elite, etc. or includes the word engineering in their name. Sensationalism is the easiest way to create a following.

Thanks, I really know nothing of him or his company (other than the advertising I have seen) so I can't comment. But I appreciate your information.
