highboy cab

are the body mounts in the cab narrower or is there longer gussets on the frame?

have a clean highboy cab and a rusty 79 cab on a clean body

Are both cabs 4x4 or 2wd? The back cab mounts are different for 2wd verses 4x4 back cab mounts

actually the 2wd vehicles (all of them) and any of the trucks from 77.5 to 79, will be different than a 73-77.5 F250 standard cab (hiboy) cab. On the plus side the fronts mount up perfectly, and you can use the existing frame mounts, you'll just need to drill the holes into the cab.
