Excursion 5.4 swap

Can anyone give some tips on how best to remove a 5.4 motor from a 2003 Excursion. Crossmember underneath causing difficulty.

Are you putting another 5.4? if so go with the navigators 32V

From what I've read here, the best way to remove the engine is to lift the body off of the frame.

Shoot, if ya really wanna give it some get-up-and-go, drop a fully built 5.4L Lightning engine in that puppy and take it to PSI Motorsports in Webster Texas and have them top it off with a turbo and their tuning.

You'll have an Excursion that runs like a raped ape.
