3G upgrade

I installed the 3g alternator in my truck and i do not have no power to the lights or the ignition switch...what color wires are they and where do they go

You probably didn't hook 12 volts to the big black/yellow wire. If you removed all the stock wiring between the original alternator, regulator, and solenoid you unplugged the power to this wire. You need to run a 10 gauge wire or so to the battery side of the solenoid and hook it to the black/yellow.

Its also a good idea to put an 80 amp fuse inline when you run the new section of wire.
