2002 Escape 4-cylinder (2.0) Alternator Wiring
I have an alternator from our 2002 Escape XLS 4-cylinder and I wanted to retrofit it on another car. All I really need is the wiring diagram to see how to wire it up, but the wire diagrams I find have two of the three wires on the connector going to the PCM without explaining what their function is.
The large wire off to the side is obviously the B+ wire going to the battery. Then the 3 pin connector has a 12V input, and one is the charging system light. I was wondering if someone on here has a more detailed wiring diagram or a FSM diagnostic page of the alternator wires. Or if you have a knowledge of what each wire function is. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
