MBRP Turn-Down installed.

Installed the MBRP Turn-Down (like Darren32) and man am I loving it. It's pretty quiet until you hit the pedal and open up the gates to Hell

Verry nice buddy.
First time I took my wife for a ride and hammered it the noise scared her. She said she thought the truck was going to blow up.

The kids love it though!

Lucky men you are. Some of us have to deal with emissions testing.

I'm wondering about the spare tire though. Won't it get hot with all the exhaust gases passing right below it? Thinking about a long hard pull up a mountain pass.

The installer actually cut the back pipe a bit while being worried about it. It's a safe distance from the spare that I will never be able to use anyways. Darren32's was not cut (I believe) and would be a bit closer.

Dang. That sounds sweet. I miss the sound of my 7.3. I guess till warranty is up I will have to rely on the rumble of my Harley to get my fix

I am not sure, I have not done any long pulls yet. Prob will not be able to melt the spare until next summer now. But I see not harm yet.

One really COOL thing, if you leave your truck on high idel for a couple of hours in the snow, there is a really neat about 2' diameter hole under it. The deeper the snow the better. Heading to the mountains in Dec, may leave the truck on all night and see how many feet it can blast down

I will have to check that out. It will not be long before we get some of the white stuff here. On a side note, I removed a small pebble out of my iPhone mic this morning from the video yesterday

That's a lot of idle fuel.
I use around 0.016 gpm (edge device doesn't have GPH) with 1,400 RPM idle.

I'm pretty lucky, I can burn as much as I like and it doesn't cost me a cent

When I had a gas truck my boss asked me to idle it all winter so the summer / winter gas bills didn't look out of wack to the gov because of all the gas used in boats in the summer Doesn't make a lot of sense but my boss is a woman so I just do what I am told

To call us tree huggers would be a bit of a stretch..

I know this is pretty lame but not ideal blasing conditions today (windy) but this in olny 10 min

Have a good weekend everyone!
