We're gunna hafta set up a "stickie" on this one, comes up so often.
I'm tempted to simply say "Yes" and leave it @ that...so I will.
(with the rejoinder: offer $500 to 700 less).
Pricing an early Bronco is a real challenge. Seems they fall into two categories, first is the Bronco someone has put a lot of money, time and work into and hopes to get it back. It appears you MAY be able to get 40-50% of some upgrades back and chalk it up to a labor of love. The second is Broncos that have pretty much been left alone for years and driven into the ground. Those are easier to price since you're not trying to offset the investment in $$$ and time. As brief a description as you provided, that price sounds fair. Without photos and a report from a test drive, there is no way say for sure. Might want to check ebay and look at what has sold recently for a reference. I'm currently selling mine and setting the price was/is REALLY hard. See:
Just to update here, saw some photos. Body is in pretty rough shape, looks like there may be some marginal backyard electrical work done and there is nothing remarkable about it that would add to the value. I'd say $2500 is fair but don't know that I would pay that much. There are others around in better shape for less (as always!)
UGLY??? I'm offended!! Just kidding. That folds down and the Garmin Color GPS mounts there. Not the prettiest way to mount it but VERY secure which is what I was looking for when off road.
