I have a 2003 expedition and when the rear air/vent is turned on i get a clicking noise from the rear right interior side of the vehicle. When I turn up the temp **** to a warmer setting the noise goes away. Any thoughts. Thanks in advance.

A gear inside the blend door motor assembly has stripped some of it's teeth. You can't get just the gear, you have to replace the motor assembly.

Does it go away when you switch from floor to ceiling or when you change the temp? The first actuator is easier to change than the latter. Search blend door actuator here and you will find directions.
