You need to better explain this "jerk" motion. Does it happen at an idle/low speed? You need to help us on specifics. First we need to know if its an engine "jerk" or something steering/suspension.
It's the motor. It's like it quits firing the starts back and jerks. When I'm idling it will cut off and start right back up. But it only does it in the rain that's y I don't think it's the ficm or injector.

Oh, its a 7.3L. We'll i'm sure a code got stored in the PCM since the last time it happen, run it to autozone and see if they can get anything with there scan tool. We here on the forums are going to be very limited with our Diag. Could be a crank sensor or ICP.
When it cuts off it throws a code but when u cut it off and back on it clears it. Had it plugged up 7 times in the past 2 weeks. I don't know it's weird
Sounds like a CPS failure, or more likely a seal issue for the CPS, Which CPS do you have installed? Have you had the recall done, if not Ford will change the CPS free. Should be around $25 if you need to purchase one, do not get one from the parts houses the ones from the parts houses, do just what you describe...wiper motor interferes with the signal.
If there was a SES light turning the key off will not clear the code stored. Most OBDII readers at the parts stores will not read Powerstroke specific things.
I didn't never hear of the cps but I researched it. I'm gonna call and get a price. Is there anything else that could cause that. What gets me is that it only does it when it rains. Like something is getting wet and shorting out. It's weird to me
To me it's worth a $25 gamble, every owner I know of a 7.3 keeps a spare CPS in their glove box. I have 3, don't know why, maybe someone broken down on the side of the road who wished they had one needs it.
