Now!
Note; before i took off running boards
Thanks for looking!
Great pics and a great looking truck. You should be a proud gasser that will last a long time with little maintenance costs. Let us know when you hit 300,000 miles and still going strong.

Thank you!! Just rolled 52,000 on the way home today!
My list of plans now is maintenance stuff.. plugs/COPs, change rear diff fluid/cover, sway bar bushings, rebuild ESOF hubs, fuel filter, transfer case oil change, and headers to replace the shot manifolds and studs. well the list goes on but ill stop here haha
Think Mike at 5-Star for a power programmer; it will really wake up your 5.4.

Also in the list of parts to buy in my favorites
Unfortunately.. i already need to repair the bottoms of my doors as they are beginning to rust. damn rust belt
Change out your chrome steps to solid flat runnng boards and you won't have that problem anymore. Even with mudflaps mud, slush, and water gets thrown up and into your bottom door jams. The solid, non-fancy steps keep that crap from getting into the bottom door jams. I had the same problem on my 2002 and when I ordered my 2008 I made sure I didn't get those round chrome steps.

Yeah i noticed that.. on my friends '99 he has those and the mounting brackets on them and the metal on the bottom is SHOT so his doors must look good. I just spray up there with a hose alot and can flush out that entire channel
After you wash and dry the bottom jams, spray them with PAM Original and that will help keep the rust off and also keep the doors from sticking in the cold.

Nice looking truck. It was a little lifeless in the first photo. It amazes me how plain these trucks look out of the box. I need to do the maintenance crap next also. Not as good to look at as the shiny stuff but good for peace of mind.
