Well as some of you know I had 1 grenade on me , replaced it , 350 miles later this ones pumping oil out of the connector again ?????

Ford OEM part , just home off of a 300 mile trip , cruise control on 70 the whole way, all readings on the Insight CTS perfect , with oil pressure never getting over 70-75 psi?

I'm a little frustrated !!! Any help appreciated?

Would some type of electrical short cause it to fail/leak ? The single wire into the connector looks a little banged up ?

Something is a little confusing. The engine oil pressure switch is just a switch. It doesn't read oil pressure. It switches on and moves the oil pressure gauge up at about 7 PSI, and switches off and drops the gauge to zero below 7 PSI. And I don't think a new one should start leaking right off again.

What are you reading oil pressure with on the Insight?

The CTS can't read oil pressure. Unless there is a way to add an external oil pressure sensor. That was the whole point of my question.

Add on (AES) pressure sensor mounted into a bung welded into the oil filter housing. You can "daisy chain" as many pressure or temp sensors as you want I believe ?

So which oil sensor is leaking. The stock oil pressure switch, or the oil pressure sensor you have added on?

Great, Thanks.
You probably could get a new oil cap with the port in it for that also.

I don't think it should fail so quickly, unless you somehow damaged it putting it in. It does not need to be very tight.

I think I would take it out and see if they'll warranty it at the parts counter.
