Thank you everyone. I think Pops would be quite proud of his old truck. I get to pick it up Saturday afternoon. That is when the real fun will begin. It is odd how you have to tear something apart to make it whole. My garage will finally be emptied of seats, transmissions, engines, wiring harnesses, cherry pickers, stereo equipment, digital gauges, and a million random somethings that go to something else. I think it will be kind of empty...

I love your choice of colors, I think your dad would be pleased the way "his" truck is turning out.

Well, Pop's truck has been home a week and I have had about 45 minutes of sunlight to work with to take a few pictures. I just can't seem to get enough sun on it to show how truly amazing the candy apple looks in the light. Anyway, here is my contribution to truck **** magazine today. I hope you all enjoy. Also, I guess this will be my build thread since the paint was the key to a starting point in the rebuild. The heater core came out today since I don't have any interior in the old girl anyway and I soon discovered that Advance Auto had given me the wrong one. Luckily it is only a mile from home, so no real inconvenience to get it exchanged. I'll get the new one in tomorrow.
