i just bought 2 47 f100s. 1 is in very good condition! hardly any rust, almost no missing parts, engine runs. the other 1 is not quite so well off... pretty dented up, rusty, and missing parts. i havent spent much time on it yet but so far it doesnt run. apparently it ran in 04 so with a bit more ersuasion it should go im hoping...
back to the 1st 1.. it runs awsum! she just purrs. My problem is that somewhere its leaking coolant into the oil pretty bad becuase after probably about and hour of running i had gained a good 2 or 3 inches on the dipstick!
my question is does anyone no if these v8s have a particular weakness say in the block or heads, or could it be just a gasket job?? or should i just pull her out and rebuild the whole thing?
