Injection Control Pressure Sensor ( ICP SENSOR ) Help

I have seen several posts with people buying the eBay special ICP sensors with course threads. So I decided to put together a post showing the difference in the sensors. I ended up putting together a PDF that I have on my web page to help everyone out. The PDF turned out to be more of an R&R document with pictures and a little information about the sensor. Hopefully it will help others out and please share it with everyone.

Woodnthings ICP Sensor R&R Write-Up

a 5 volt reference voltage known as VREF. The sensor is a variable capacitor sensor
Awesome write-up. FYI, the Space Shuttles used variable capacitor transducers based on a 5V reference as well.

ICP Write Up

Thanks for the write up. I am one of those that bought the ebay bogus icp. I know a guy with an older truck and I can give it to him.

I will look for a proper ICP now that I have the part number.

Thanks again

RiffRaff is great and I have gotten great service from him. However I need my truck for a job by tomorrow morning. Can't wait for delivery to Alaska.

Too late. The truck quit on me again right in the middle of evening traffic and I had to have it towed.
I have no place to work on it and with temperatures dropping below zero I had to surrender and have it towed to the dealer.
Now I am at their mercy.

REPS!! I have to do this with mine, (just because after 265K miles I think it is time), and a couple of friends are having issues with theirs as well. Plus it gives me a reason to buy a set of crows foot wrenches.
