Hello again,
1999 Ford Expedition
Given to me by a family member, the electric drivers seat stopped working on them. They adjusted it manually and then never moved it. I got an EB edition seat at salvage and it works but has heated seat. Is this going to be a problem when I hook it back up? All the wires are integrated together and the old seat wasn't heated.
Will it be ok? Or do I need to unhook the heater wires?
If it doesn't heat up when you plug it in, then I wouldn't worry about it. If your in a cold climate I may consider finding a way to activate it come winter...that is if you know which wires are the heater ones? Grab a Haynes manual from AZ or O'reilly's and check the wiring diagram...you may find yourself at the salvage yard pulling the relay out of that other Expy.
