So , what is there to gain by steeling these cars ?..

I have seen the show..

All they gain is a free ticket to jail

They don't know they are bait cars.. They are just seazeballs looking for an easy mark and they get bagged

The IQ of the thieves is less than the air pressure in the bait cars tires.

I say, put small IEDs in the bait cars to eliminate the thieves from the shallow end of the gene pool.
