WIERD Air Cleaner Question
I pulled my air filter this morning to clean and re-oil it, prepping for our T-Day camping/riding trip.
When I took the air cleaner apart, there was a fluid leaking from the upstream part of the cleaner assembly. It was coming from the end bell betweet the MAF tube and the air cleaner shell (NOT in the MAF area, but from the area underneath if you remove the MAF). The fluid is slightly oily, about the color and consistency of Wesson Oil.
It is not further upstream in the intake, and is not in the lower filter bell section either. Filter looks good.
Anyone ever heard of or experienced this before?

Thought of those two, as well as maybe filter oil, but there's 2 problems.
1st, it's not the same color, smell or feel as any of those (oil is amber, antifreeze is green and K&N oil is red), this stuff is almost clear.
2nd (and odder to me) it's in an area that is not generally open to getting anything into it, even air.
