I have been thinking about selling my 6.0 because I have gotten rid of most of the toys I have that required me owning a diesel. I have listed my truck for sale in a few places and had ZERO calls. I even had a ford dealer tell me that he did not want to take it in on trade because he already had something like 15 6.0's sitting on the lot.
My question is do any of you know where or how to sell a f-250 with a 6.0 in it? I mean my truck is in good shape and because of you all i have taken very good care of it but it seems like there is a market overload on these things right now in my area... Is it like that everywhere?
I put my 2000 SLP Camaro SS that was signed and numbered on Ebay and had a ton of interest and sold it via email/phone out side of ebay so I didn't have to pay ebay $800ish dollars, just put a million dollar reserve on it and email/phone the people who are interested.
They have a bad Rep. People are afraid of that. I thought about selling mine last year. I bought a diesel for longevity. Not out of need for the motor size. After doing research my truck gets alot better mileage then any gas motor. And it looks sexy, so I'm keeping it.
I've always used AutoTrader, and paid the $60 or whatever it is for the premium deal. It puts your truck near the top on searches no matter how long it's been up there. I've sold three vehicles on there and they all sold within a month.
