Weird front end noise

2004 F150 SCREW Lariat 4x4. Experiencing some odd noises. When driving down the road and turning the wheel slightly left will produce some grinding and popping from under the floorboard. I'm suspecting a CV axle as the boot is ripped on that side, but was wondering what you guys think first. Would this have anything to do with the IWE system or solenoid??

If not the cv boot...I'd check the wheel bearing, especially if it sounds like scraping and grinding
