Hello,
I just bought 2000 Ford f550 7.3 Diesel v8 automatic transsmission with 300000 for my work, please let me know how to get the manual for it and what is the important steps needed to make efficient in my check ups. Thanks for all experianced members for any helpful information in advance

Welcome Aboard, I would first change all the fluids, pwr steering flush, brake fluid flush, coolant flush, oil change, front and rear diff & transfer case if its 4x4. How does it run? Was it well maintained? Got any pics because we love pics on here. There are plenty of mods you can do to help the efficiency of the eng. Why not just get your auto tranny rebuilt by JW (John Woods) or BTS (Brians Transmission) They can make that tranny stout.

Thanks for the responses, I will put the picture next week, I just have to use my Ifone, I have done all the service needed and it runs great now, but I am just learning how to check it everyday before driving it.

BFIFE has an F450 IIRC and we met for lunch one day. He showed me the Dana 80 that is the rear axle in those trucks and DAYUM but it's a big'un!!! Congrats on the 550 and welcome to FTE!

I tried to upload my ford picture as I promised but failed, I do not know what is wrong and did not tell me why it is not loading, I get the picture now. Is it true it can pull up to 20000 lbs of cargo in flat bed trailer.
