Fuel Leak = FIXED!!
FINALLY! I AM LEAK FREE!
Got the whole thing done today! All the sleeves were replaced, got the new drain valve on and whaddya know.. NO LEAKS.
SOOO FRIKKEN HAPPY!
I got the whole thing done with 6 mins to spare before I needed to leave for an appointment. Hop in the truck, enjoy my PMS and........
I am engulfed in white smoke at the stop light... And I keep noticing it behind me as I drive.. So I get to the parking lot and pop the hood.
Smoke everywhere.
I grab my handy dandy MAGLITE and spy a heavy stream of fuel directly onto the turbo. Of course it had to be the one fitting I couldnt get to with a hot motor. I even had the wrenches with me... So I get home, let it cool. Reach back and button it down. Ok NOW I'm leak free!
For reals this time! Man am I happy to not be pouring liquid money on the road! For the first time in months my valley is dry!
